Lauren graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Southern California with a degree in Political Science. During her time in university, she completed a year-long fellowship with Americorps at the Stanley Mosk Courthouse in downtown LA, worked at her university’s research library, and served as a teaching assistant for USC’s Nautical Science Program.
Lauren’s interest in language and tutoring started at a young age, helping her Polish mother with her English. She continued to develop her skills by tutoring throughout high school and working with adult ESL learners during her university years. After graduation, she devoted her time to teaching English—first at a summer camp in Poland and then for a year at a secondary school in northern Spain—while earning her Teaching English as a Foreign Language certification from UIC Barcelona.
Now back home in Orange County, Lauren is eager to continue teaching and to support students with empathy as they navigate their own college journeys. She relates to their experiences as she prepares for law school herself. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, sailing, cooking with friends and family, and watching movies.
