Quentin C.

Math/Science

Quentin graduated from the State University of New York (SUNY) Polytechnic Institute with a B.S. in Nanoscale Engineering. His academic background combines applied physics, bioengineering, and nanoscale optics, giving him a unique perspective on the intersection of science and technology. He specializes in all levels of Calculus, Biology, Chemistry, and ACT test prep.

While at SUNY, Quentin worked for the SUNY Research Foundation, gaining experience in semiconductor manufacturing. During his final year, he contributed to AIM Photonics, where he explored Electronic Design Automation and chip layout design. After graduation, he worked as a Process Engineer specializing in Silicon Carbide, a key material in electric vehicle technology, where he gained insight into automation at the mechanical, software, and quality levels.

Currently, Quentin is part of the Quantum Labs at Caltech, where he supports students and AWS in processing materials, manages semiconductor tools, and oversees data pipelines. His diverse experience allows him to break down complex STEM concepts in a way that makes them accessible and engaging for students.

Outside of work, Quentin enjoys exploring new technologies, problem-solving through engineering challenges, and staying active outdoors.
