Sara earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology with minors in Medical Humanities and Studio Art from Boston College in 2024. Coming back to her home state, she recently completed her Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences at the University of California, Riverside in June 2025.
Sara’s teaching journey began in high school, tutoring elementary and middle school students in Math and Science. During college, she further developed her tutoring approach—rooted in patience, understanding, and flexibility. At Boston College, she tutored high school students in Math, Biology, and Chemistry and also supported her undergraduate peers by serving as a teaching assistant for her biology seminar. While in graduate school, she continued this path by leading an undergraduate biological research course, where she gained hands-on experience in designing lessons and fostering scientific curiosity.
In her free time, she enjoys painting, trying new recipes she finds on Instagram, and
playing in recreational soccer leagues with her former club teammates.
