Sasha is currently pursuing her master's in clinical psychology and holds a background in education, having taught special education and English as a Second Language in both the U.S. and Japan. She developed a deep passion for counseling while working closely with students from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds, helping them navigate academic challenges, identity formation, and personal growth.
Her work has taken her across multiple roles. ESL state tester, district lead, and classroom teacher. Sasha’s multicultural heritage shapes her commitment to culturally responsive care and her belief that storytelling and creativity are powerful tools for everyone to express themselves.
Writing and counseling sessions with Sasha focus on helping clients and students uncover their authentic voices, connect their personal narratives to their goals, and embrace their unique strengths. She draws on her experience in education, creative writing, and cross-cultural communication to create a safe, collaborative space where people feel seen and understood.
When she’s not working with clients or students, Sasha enjoys dance, art, and travel.
