Sofia is a 4th year at UC Irvine, pursuing a B.S. in Biological Sciences with a minor in Psychology. She has a strong passion for the sciences, particularly Biology, Environmental Science, and Astronomy.
She discovered her love for tutoring in her second year of college, working with middle school students in Pre-Algebra and Algebra 1 to help them prepare for high school entrance exams. This experience introduced her to different learning styles, and she strives to adapt her approach to support each student’s unique needs. She looks forward to continuing to help students build confidence and reach their academic goals.
Outside of academics, Sofia enjoys spending time with friends, playing sports, going to the beach, and watching movies.
