Victoria W.

English/Reading

With seven years of experience at the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County, Victoria developed a strong foundation in effective communication and education. Collaborating with expert educators and renowned scientists, she honed a unique talent for breaking down complex concepts and presenting them in an engaging, accessible way—a skill that translates seamlessly into her work as an English and reading test prep tutor.

Victoria is trained in the “And, But, Therefore” Narrative Framework, a technique she incorporates into her tutoring sessions to help students identify key ideas and build lasting comprehension skills. She has also helped execute national K-12 educator workshops, where teachers from across the country collaborate to develop lesson plans that incorporate marine science content into their curricula, that align with education standards and engage students.

Her teaching approach is rooted in personalization. Recognizing that every student learns differently, Victoria tailors her instruction to meet individual needs and equips students with the tools they need to think critically and reach their full potential.

Outside of tutoring, Victoria enjoys visiting the local dog beach and discovering the best coffee spots in Orange County.
